The eyes are the first thing people pay attention to when looking at a person: this has been proven by research. They represent the internal energy of a person, being the “windows of the soul.” Character is easily determined by the eyes, because even without knowledge of the basics of physiognomy, it is clear from just one glance whether a person is good or evil.
Knowing how to determine character by the eyes, you can learn a lot of interesting things about a person. In this case, everything is important: the shape of the eyes, their size, location relative to each other, the color of the iris and whites, even the structure of the eyelashes!
Character of people with round eyes
The eyes are round in shape with double rounded eyelids, and the lower eyelid is well defined. The pupils of the eyes are black and very large. This is a highly favorable sign. Such eyes are found in both men and women. Chinese physiognomists interpret the male and female versions differently.
If such eyes belong to a man, they are called “dragon”. They endow their owners with all the qualities of the Dragon: nobility, strength, power, luck. These are people of enviable fate; all the leading politicians in the world have “dragon” eyes.
The female version of such eyes is called “Phoenix” eyes. Women with such eyes are kind and noble. These are true queens: they are rich, famous, loved and powerful.
Incredibly round, so-called “peacock” eyes say about the character of their owner that their owner will always be faced with the vicissitudes of fate: an unsuccessful marriage, complications with money, an unstable position, the machinations of envious people, etc. They have few friends, but they value they contain loyalty and self-sacrifice.
The eyes are round, shiny, bulging, the gaze is shifting (“monkey” eyes) - this really makes a person look like a monkey. He is active, smart, inventive, he has an excellent memory and well-developed intuition.

The pupils are large, the gaze is assertive. Women and men with cow-shaped eyes are soft and calm. People are not impulsive; they prefer quiet family villages to socializing in a noisy company. However, they are loyal to their friends.
A person has only positive qualities. He is brave, reliable, patient, very hardworking. Characterized by slowness. Such people are smart and logical beyond their years.
Triangular eyes
Triangular-shaped eyes (the upper eyelid from the bridge of the nose descends obliquely to the outer part of the eye, as if cutting it off) indicate prudence, suspicion, cunning and cruelty. And although the owners of such eyes have a peculiar character, they are smart, it is dangerous to deal with them, since deception or some kind of meanness can be expected from them at any moment. “The end justifies the means” is their motto.
Elongated eyes generally indicate great constriction and restraint. Therefore, it is very difficult for people of the Mongolian race to express themselves. This also indicates that a person has a goal and long-term plans.
If the corners of the eyes are downward, then the person is very economical in spending his energy. This speaks of stinginess, restraint, and the fact that a person is all inside. Such people are often born under the sign of Capricorn. They, as a rule, poorly realize their creative potential.
The eyes are elongated, light, the outer corners are slightly pubescent, the whites are in red veins, the pupils are white and blue, the gaze is dispassionate and piercing (“wolf” eyes) - all this reveals in the owners of such eyes people who are cruel, evil, vengeful, and power-hungry. Among them are many sadists, serial killers and leaders of criminal gangs. However, such people often become victims of violence themselves and may suffer sudden death. Despite the “bouquet” of negative properties, these people almost always occupy a high position in society.
Elongated eyes with a firm and penetrating gaze are “lion” eyes. Their owners are noble, intelligent, reasonable and courageous, they are determined and efficient. These are usually wealthy people in high positions. They are equally effective in business, politics, and military affairs.
Personality of people with small eyes
- If the eyes are small, then the woman or man has a closed character, arrogance, stubbornness and constancy in affection.
- Small eyes, slightly angular, with drooping corners (“fox” eyes) indicate cunning character and greed of their owners. Cunning and greedy, they hypocritically hide under the mask of goodwill, but it always comes out. Some of these people are very smart.
- Small and deep-set eyes - be careful: they reveal people who are cunning, insincere, grumpy and often lack self-control.
- How to determine character by eyes if they are small and dark? Such eyes indicate curiosity and quick reaction. Their owners are eloquent and active; they are patronized by the planet Mercury.
- Small, narrow, slightly swollen eyes (“snake-like”) are considered an indication of aggression and rancor. In China, the owner of such eyes is called “a person with the soul of a snake.” Such people have absorbed all the negative traits: ruthlessness, prudence, vindictiveness, thirst for power, etc. There is always a threat hidden in their smile.
- Small eyes with heavy eyelids, shifting pupils and sparse eyelashes with colorless eyebrows are a sign of down-to-earth people, cunning, with practical acumen. They are prudes and selfish, but when it suits them or sometimes in their mood, they can be friendly. They are not interested in the spiritual path of development.
- Small, stupid eyes with an absent-minded look (“pig” eyes) characterize people of small intelligence, conservative, cunning. They do not make a big career, but are in demand for work that requires meticulousness. Statistics show that such people live no more than 60 years.

Bulging eyes
So, what about people whose eyes seem to be ready to pop out of their sockets (Figure 4.8)? It doesn’t sound very nice, of course, but such eyes are not always a sign that a person has Graves’ disease. As children, children with such eyes are often teased, but still they always have many friends. On the one hand, this is due to innocence, on the other – to an open character.

Growing up, such children acquire excellent acumen, are able to immediately assess people, and in general, they are players by nature. Realistically assessing their own strengths, they are nevertheless decisive and ambitious. Unfortunately, people with such eyes sometimes do not look into their inner world and do not try to develop spiritually, which often leads to ridiculous recklessness. We can say that they often provoke certain situations that from the outside seem crazy. And only after a certain time it becomes clear how correct this decision was, even despite the enormous risk.

From an aesthetic point of view, it is extremely important that protruding eyes are balanced by other facial features (eyebrows, lips or nose) - this will indicate success in areas where risk is part of the game.
In addition to being gambling and able to take risks, such people are very sexy, sex is as important to them as air and water. They do not deny themselves pleasures and indulge any sexual whims. Because how can you count on a quiet family union when one of the partners is a gentle stream, and the other is a stormy hurricane? A hurricane will simply knock the stream out of its channel, splashing its gentle waters all over the earth. The omitted corners actually determine the attitude of others towards such a person: everyone strives to feel sorry for him and show sympathy. Most often this is completely unnecessary, but constant sympathy gives rise to the suspicion that something is really wrong in life, and problems that seemed easily solvable grow to the point of being insoluble.
On the other hand, such an amount of “participation” from others makes a person a kind of debtor. This is often the reason why he lends a helping hand too quickly, without trying to figure out whether he really needs it. Such mistakes give rise to uncertainty and, as a result, even greater self-absorption and isolation.

Eyes with drooping corners
It may seem that drooping corners of the eyes are a death sentence for their owner. This is not true, and now you will find out why.
It is difficult to meet more pleasant and congenial people. They are sincere, responsive and know how to support in difficult times like no one else. It seems that it was about them that K. Vonnegut once said: “The meaning of human life – no matter who controls the person – is only to love those who are next to you, who need your love...”.
The best field of activity for people with drooping corners is one that requires kindness, patience, the ability to listen and understand: teaching, caring for children and the sick, the social sphere, resolving disputes and complaints, working with people with disabilities, etc.
In personal relationships, the desire to care for others will play a positive role, because it will provide the opportunity to feel care and attention and fully enjoy the reverent attitude of loved ones.

People with deep-set eyes (Fig. 4.10) are prone to daydreaming, they are more romantic than passionate, and they are more intellectual than physical. Nevertheless, they are well versed in financial matters.
Owners of such eyes are thinkers by nature, are rarely impulsive, rather adhere to conservative views and prefer to check, evaluate and weigh everything properly, rather than act at random and take risks, hoping for luck.

Deep-set eyes
At the same time, it should be noted: if in front of you is a person with deep-set eyes, most likely you can trust him, but this should not be abused. They can be trusted, but they also demand the same from their friends and partners, so weigh the pros and cons before you deceive or betray (however, this applies to all people, not just those described in this section) .
The disadvantage of such people is their periodic detachment, which can offend other people and even repel them.
And judging squinting because of eye size is often perceived as a cynical and negative attitude, and therefore can offend. Slanted eyes
A person with such eyes is very cheerful and gives those around him a good mood.
Optimism, courage, passion for adventure - this is the nature of people with slanted eyes (Fig. 4.11). However, being overly determined and confident often leads to temperament and an inability to compromise. Fortunately, anger passes as quickly as it begins, leaving no painful consequences.
People with slanted eyes, as a rule, are excellent and valuable workers: they have a lively mind, learn quickly and easily, inspire confidence in the successful completion of started projects and generate new ideas. As leaders, they instill optimism and energy in their subordinates, which has a very good effect on the performance of employees in particular and the prosperity of the organization as a whole.
At the same time, those who work alongside or manage such people should know that valuable colleagues with slanted eyes should not be pressured into doing routine work. Only activities in which you need to quickly make decisions, where everything is in full swing and people are in constant motion, only risky and lightning-fast projects!

In their personal lives, people with slanted eyes act the same way as in a work environment: I came, I saw, I conquered! It is difficult to say whether one can sympathize or envy their beloved: recklessness, and often indiscretion, jealousy, and explosive temperament are unlikely to make family life quiet and calm. Surely many of you have noticed that human eyes are often similar to the eyes of one or another animal. Physiognomists, depending on the characteristics of human eyes, have combined them into several conditional “animal” groups. In Chinese physiognomy, there are types of eyes symbolically represented by certain animals.
Dragon eyes
- these are large eyes with a lively shine, sometimes with a slightly half-closed eyelid (Fig. 4.13).

They say about people with such eyes: “Only send for death.” They are slow, lacking energy and inactive.
Brows
It’s not for nothing that eyebrows are called the frames of the eyes. Beautiful, graceful, they can smooth out imperfections, such as small size or excessively close placement of the eyes, while ugly, scanty or, conversely, hard, bristling eyebrows can spoil even the most beautiful eye shape. So, what can you find out by looking at the eyebrows of the person being studied?

You need to be very careful when assessing the shape of women's eyebrows! Most likely, in the process of giving them the desired shape, the natural bend, thickness and size were not preserved. However, you can always find out what kind of personality a woman wants to appear to others, that is, how she wants to be perceived.
Eyebrow texture
One rule applies here: the thicker and stiffer the eyebrows, the more unyielding and stubborn the person’s character. You should also pay attention to the end of the eyebrows: thin (Fig. 4.25) speaks of nobility, wide – of courage and bravery, and raised (Fig. 4.26) – of generosity and courage.

Short eyebrows have a mostly negative meaning, for example, short thin eyebrows belong to failed revolutionaries, short thick ones belong to freedom-loving, but aggressive and hot-tempered people, short rough ones belong to people who are fickle both in their careers and in their personal lives. Short, coarse and, moreover, thick eyebrows generally combine anger, promiscuity and unscrupulousness. Well, if the eyebrows are almost invisible (Fig. 4.29), keep in mind: this is a cunning and, perhaps, even insidious person.

However, the main disadvantages of those with short eyebrows are ambition, fickleness and short temper. Others may well perceive people with short eyebrows as immature, limited individuals. But often negative traits are compensated by other qualities, such as ardor and independence.

Typically, narrow eyes indicate a calm disposition, reliability, but disinterest in showing feelings of love.
A narrow eye shape, the outer corner of the eye and eyebrow raised to the temple, a pupil with a sharp gaze, short but thick eyelashes - this is a portrait of a very observant, secretive, cunning, hypocritical, intelligent, selfish, self-possessed and very passionate person. Such people never lose heart. In extreme situations they behave harshly, sometimes even cruelly, but usually they are fair in their claims. They have a quick reaction and instantly gather for a decisive blow. They are proactive, good analysts, and not afraid to take responsibility. At home they don’t like to talk about work, they are withdrawn. How to determine character by the eyes of women? They are very stubborn, and strive to subordinate their husband to their will; they do not tolerate second roles. They do a good job as an investigator who can be entrusted with a particularly dangerous case. They have a sharp, lively mind. Observant, will not miss anything. They don’t like to share their impressions with other people and know how to keep other people’s secrets. Good companions, loyal friends. They are very sexy, but in this area a lot depends on their mood. They love comfort and entertainment. Fidgety, cannot sit idle for a long time. They are difficult, but very interesting and never boring. They have a good sense of humor, are able to find something comical in the ordinary, and are great at telling funny stories and anecdotes. However, they absolutely do not tolerate other people's superiority, even in small things. Rivals are excluded from friends and communication with them is avoided. If you still have to meet with them, they prefer to do it in private, without prying eyes.

People with small eyes, heavy eyelids and shifting eyes are cunning, selfish and extremely conservative (even to the point of hypocrisy). The eyes appear small due to the small opening of the eyelids. Eyelashes are usually sparse, and the expression of the eyes is colorless and pale. The eyebrows are also sparse and small.

How to determine the character of such a person? He is petty, cunning and spiritually poor. He may seem kind at first glance. However, this kindness is kindness of calculation, and not sincere.
Wide human eye type
Wide round eyes show that a person is stubborn and very persistent, shows feelings violently, almost always jealous, although easy-going.
